Contents
Included in the “tachofresh” packet is the once-only purchase of the hardware (Vehicle box),
a once-only activation charge of the vehicle box and a monthly charge for the use of the module.
The required hardware consists of the vehicle box fleet-professional (with SIM card) installation kit, power cable, connection cables for the tachograph + FMS and a GSM/GPS antenna.
The monthly service charge per vehicle is included in the service contract and comprises of:
- Use of the software
- Use of the DKV Tachomanager portal for archiving
- Position of vehicle shown on a digital map and
- The entire communications costs and roaming charges throughout the EUč

Operating Principle
The vehicle box with built in SIM card is connected directly to the tachograph.With every change of activity or at the latest every 15 minutes current driver activity, vehicle information and the position is transferred from the digital tachograph to the DKV Tachomanager (2 minute pulsing). The dispatcher is informed of the drivers remaining driving hours and breaks and the remaining driving time budget, hence the dispatcher always knows how long the driver can continue and is advised early of any possible offences. All data is stored for 14 days.
Note:
Since the transferred data will not be signed, it needs to be electronically signed when downloaded from the digital tachograph. This is a legal requirement.

 Duration
The minimum contract duration for the DKV Tachomanager module “tachofresh“
is 24 months.The contract can be terminated up to 3 months before the end of the minimum contract duration. If the contract is not cancelled within this time the contract is automatically extended for 1 year.
Fees

Service charge per vehicle per month is 19,00 EURČ.
- Hardware
The hardware packet price per vehicle is 459,00 EURČ.
- activation charge
Activation charge per vehicle box is 25,00 EURČ.
The stated price of 484,00 EUR includes the complete hardware packet and activation charge per vehicle box.
The monthly service charge is charged separately on the service contract.
The hardware can be ordered by pressing shopping cart icon.
Please note! Hardware will be first dispatched after the signed service contract is received.
Installation
The vehicle box can be fitted by a garage of your choice. We would gladly put you in contact with one of our nationwide installers. Our installation team will visit you direct on site and offer a smooth and professional fitting of the vehicle box.
